Terms and Conditions
Our Terms and Conditions are designed to help you receive your bird safely and without any misunderstandings.
All deposits are non-refundable & non-transferable.
When your bird is reserved with a deposit, we will update you with pictures on our Instagram/Facebook as your baby grows as much as possible. Please contact us by phone to reserve your baby and/or confirm availability. Please call us if you have any questions.
We accept Cash, Zelle, PayPal, Checks, or Direct Deposits. Any transaction fees incurred will be added to the TOTAL sales price. If paying via Check, please give us 3-5 business days for the check to clear before bird can be released to a customer. We do NOT sell unweaned babies via PayPal.
Prices of birds are subject to change depending on season and availability.
We take care of all the flight/shipping arrangements. All you have to do is pick up your bird at your nearest airport with a Valid I.D. Simple and Safe!
We will coordinate flight times with our customers a few days in advance before the bird is shipped (weather permitting). The customer is supplied with the airline, flight number(s), air waybill number, and flight arrival time before departure. It is recommended that the customer arrives at the airport no later than the expected flight arrival time so that your bird is not waiting at the airport for any length of time.
A return call or e-mail to North Shore Aviary letting us know that the bird(s) arrived safely is greatly appreciated.
All sales are final when the birds are shipped. There are no returning bird(s). We have a 24-hour limit of notification, after delivery of the bird(s), of any death at the point of delivery, specified on the order. Immediate inspection is necessary to ensure damage didn't occur during shipping and the birds are alive at delivery. We will replace the dead bird or refund the cost of the bird one time, but not the shipping cost.
Shipping charges $185 & up nationwide + airline-approved shipping crate ($65 - $125) Any bird(s) that leaves our aviary must be paid in full before the bird(s) is shipped. We offer shipping within the U.S. We do NOT offer international shipping to any other country.
